EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:

POSITION: Information Technology Support

Position's primary focus will be to assist the Chief Technology Officer. This will include, but is not limited to, providing customer technical support in troubleshooting Internet connectivity issues, and resolving email problems. Daily functions will include working with Cisco and Arista routers, switches and advanced network based equipment.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

Assist the Chief technology Officer.
Provide technical support to customers to help resolve Internet connectivity issues and to help resolve email issues. This will include telephone support as well as being hands on to aid in setting up devices.
Maintains systems, databases and web pages.
Works with Cisco and Arista routers, switches and advanced network based equipment.
Sets up and configures desktop computers and peripherals.
Provides troubleshooting, repair and maintenance for computer equipment.
Designs and produces basic reports.
Responsible for unloading and storing equipment deliveries.
Provide support for in-house IT related needs.

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:

Must have knowledge in Cisco CLI.
Must have knowledge using Microsoft Office and Windows.
Must be familiar with wired and wireless networking.
Some job functions will include working with Microsoft Server based environments.
May require the knowledge of a variety of hardware as well as software, programming languages, and operation systems.
Valid driver’s license.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
A qualified candidate would include those holding a CCNA certificate or higher, and those taking Cisco Platform courses at Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College.

JOB TYPE:

Full time position.
New hires are subject to a 60-day trial evaluation.
