Notice to customers who own a TV that has ROKU
software built into it:
It’s come to our attention that ROKU has recently released a software update
that made many of their devices lose the cable television channels. To be able
to get those channels back you will need to do the following steps:
Click the HOME button on your remote
Then go to SETTINGS
Then click on TV
INPUT
Then click on LIVE TV
(Some may say CABLE TV)
Then go to MANAGE
Then you should see a
check box that says HIDE STREAMING CHANNELS – click the box to make sure it's
checked.
This should bring
your channels back in.
However, if you have done a factory reset on your TV while trying to fix it you
will need to do a channel scan to get all the channels back in. If you are
still having issues with your channels coming in after these steps have been
done you will need to submit a ticket with ROKU - you can do this through the
ROKU website at:
support.roku.com
